You drank for a couple years and quit for 30. It can be a little annoying to people who have struggled with deeper levels of addiction. It would completely fine if his sobriety wasn't a "thing", if it wasn't a proclamation or a testament, something he brags about. You can be a guy who doesn't drink, that's completely fine, but if you're going to be "sober guy" and constantly bring up your struggles with the devil-water you better have a better story than a couple bad nights as a teenager, because that just sounds pathetic and embarrassing

That would be about the one thing that would get me to listen to any of these people again. And it would be the only way for Ant to jump back into relevance. Too bad it will never happen.

He could buy his identical house with 50 acres for like a million anywhere else in the country, have an extra few million to live off and be a drunken recluse until he dies. He still has enough talent that he has options, some people find him and his opinions interesting. Opie is fucked, if he loses the sirius gig, who the fuck wants him?
