I don't think Opie has seen ANY movies, like at all. How many times has the room gone off on a tangent while Tits remains silent? The only things he references are previous jokes he heard someone else get a laugh with. He doesn't like sports, movies, or keep up on the news outside of the newspaper headlines, so my question to Tits is: What the fuck do you do? His tv must have the E! logo burned onto it. What a pathetic sack of shit.
If it's not people watching in the park, it's people watching on tv. He's legitimately a simpleton. His walnut-sized brain cannot follow any type of plot, so it's impossible for him to have appreciation for things like writing, acting, etc. He gets confused and frustrated repeatedly and hates the feeling so he avoids everything that comes out. He's the type of person that doesn't even pay attention if there's a highly anticipated new drama series coming out that everyone is talking about. No "does this sound good to me?" because it was decided long ago that he'd never try to get into anything new for the rest of his life.
You don't find his stock "I gotta watch that again!" line very convincing?
