Did anyone else give his repeatedly plugged podcast a shot? Just me, huh? Here's two segments I listened to that I thought I'd share.

The 1st one is him talking about Ant plugging him on his show (and calling Ant his hero) and the second is a lengthy segment where he talks about bombing on the live "Kill Tony" podcast.

Usually, it's bad form to kick someone while they're down. However, it's not only proper but encouraged on the Opie & Anthony subreddit.

With the world we live in nowadays the biggest myth around is "Any press is good press." The wrong kind of attention can be a career ender. Imagine some production company considering funding one of this guys' big projects he's shopping around and then checking into his background and seeing this one. If it just stays on reddit he's probably fine but if some blogs pick it up and include his name / title of his project, it's on google forever and anyone who sees it will find him unemployable as a director

It's just insane. I can't believe I didn't know better, like what the fuck was I thinking posting anything on Reddit and thinking something good would come of it. These people are coming after me like I shot Cecil the lion.

It doesn't matter because everyone's minds are made up, but here's the facts of the case, for the more sane/rational out there: I bought this thing for a skit, and then was going to return it. I didn't walk into an old lady's house and punch her in the face and steal it, I got it through a huge company (with warehouses) that Amazon deals with. Because this thing was a discontinued collector's item (I didn't know this), it was INSANELY overpriced. I had to get it where I could get it, I had barely days to get this thing, needed it desperately.

I fucking dared to mention I did this, much to my chagrin, turns out. Now, look: The company sells a $200 item for THREE grand. I used this item. I get hit with/they collect anywhere from $600 to $1500 from me; then they re sell it for $3000. Im the one getting fucked; the company is making a huge profit on this. But because it was a slow day on the Carolla Reddit, the stars lined up and there's a digital shit storm in my computer about the size of the one hitting Mexico right now.

Dude. You "bought" a collectors item from someone with full intention of returning it. You had 0 regard for their time, effort, or even the fact that they are running a business. You think that you can then just send this back and get a full refund?! How stupid are you? How selfish are you? he has a point. the person you bought it from, whoever that is, put an object up at a set price. you purchased it, he took it from storage, packaged it, shipped it, etc etc. everything the seller does comes at a cost to him, and he priced his object at what he felt appropriate.

you engaged in a contract with the seller under certain terms, the seller did nothing wrong. it's not their fault when they have to deal with weirdness from a buyer.

He bought a prop off of Ebay for 3 grand for a skit he made for Do or Die. He had no attention of keeping it and planned on returning it after he was done with it. Someone in the other thread said it was a collectible, too, so when he unboxed it that it lost value. Well, anyways... When he tried to return it, the person said he would have to pay 1,500 for a restocking charge and he flipped out, comparing it to buying jeans at a store and them not fitting, and then returning them haha. He was then told he is the reason why stocking charges exist and he whined from there on out.

I checked out his new video on Funny or Die. I went with an open mind and was willing to give it a chance. Turns out there was no need. It was just awful. Stupid, pointless, not just not funny, but painfully, embarrassingly, unfunny. It wasn't even one of those videos where you can say "OK, it wasn't really funny, but at least it was kind of interesting." It was just a big pile of smelly, steaming, liquidy hog turds. It was so bad that despite the fact that he's proven himself to be a totally odious douche on here, I actually felt a little sorry for him. Oh and Tom Arnold was in it.
