EDIT: Ah, nevermind. The music in the clip you posted is Straight Up by Paula Abdul. I don't know the origin of its association with Erock.

when they first came on xm it was discovered that erock liked paula abdul so they started playing it whenever he came in.

back when erock was a young, eager lad.

Yea it's Paula Abdul Straight Up. It started around the same time they used the Jetson's car sound effect when Steve C came into studio. Thought that was around 05-06. I don't know if this was the origin or if he chose this song to dance on the news bc it gets used on the air. chicken or the egg? Erock will eat em both.
