Look at it this way. How many of the greatest bits in O&A history did we lose because of Opie? How many times did he interrupt what would have been an epic riff with Ant, Jimmy, other comics because Tits was in a pissy Greggshell mood and killed the vibe from start, PHONE CALLS, took some sort of offense and couldn't take a joke, or since he is humorless had to make things really uncomfortable (As supposed to good!).

There's so many clips i find hilarious, that i'd like to play for sick-humored friends who don't know the show. Then gregg pops in with annoying soundboard shit, or he go's to the phones, or starts bitching about a staff member. "Hold on friend, the funny part is coming up, no just ignore this part, i swear it's about to be funny"... The Mr Mcgreggor bit is fuckin hilarious, but ruined halfway through by a guy pushing buttons because he doesn't have any comedic ability

He is a vestigial organ of goofy 90s shock jock shit that had no place in the "funny people saying shit" format of the XM days. After the move to XM he was no longer necessary.

It's extremely subtle, but Opie can be the biggest hole on the show. Jimmy was on fucking fire with his anti-Canada rant when an obviously offended Opie says, and I quote:

'You can't have it both ways. You want to be on in Canada, but then you want to do bits like that.'

Not being funny is one thing....But Opie not being funny AND stopping the laughs is enough to make me want to commit a murder.
