When all most autistic people want to do is sit and do the thing they enjoy most, again and again. Routines and obsessions, and the two things come together very well. The world seems almost like a natural conflict to this mindset. And it's tough, because it's almost like your brain against the world, and your brain isn't quite ready for it yet. But you can learn to cope fairly well.
