It was a thread that pointed out that the cakestomp video was climbing the charts again. There was no link to it, and was specifically mentioned in the thread that the OP wasn't going to link to it because it's against the rules.
Reddit admin contacted us today to tell us he took it down because it encouraged vote manipulation.
edit - I personally don't think it was deleted because anyone contacted Reddit.
Yeah it wasn't taken down because Opie contacted Reddit. He likes the attention he gets. It got removed because the rules are weird as fuck on Reddit also all of the big default subs all have the same mods that can basically run Reddit
Yep. Numerous SRS members doxxed the shit out of people from the mensrights sub, emailed their friends and their work saying they were racist, sexist pedophiles and managed to get at least one fired, none of them faced repercussions and admins said they couldn't find any evidence of them brigading.
The work around is planning it all at another place and keeping discussion of it off of here... But they would just try to figure it out, create new rules and ban everyone involved if it were us doing it.
The best thing to do may be to gather up all the questionable and offensive shit Opie has said, go force feed it to SRS types and let them do our dirty work since they're immune to criticism and bans.
Last time the cake video went crazy they shut down the comments, he probably didn't have to contact them if they saw the same shit happening all over again.
