It's mostly just for our entertainment, but I love that there is an onslaught of hate that he can't block away fast enough. If he got fired that would just be icing on the cake.
There is no end game. This was all supposed to die a natural death in September 2014, but the show got re-signed and Jimmy did too. Now we're just in some overtime hell that will continue as long as Opie keeps saying stupid shit.
