Shitty Philly crowd actually booed him referring to how Philly crowds famously booed santa claus. He was really thrown off by that reaction, too. It was probably sad for him.

Also, when Aretha sang Amazing Grace in front of the Pope, she completely went over-the-top in soulifying it......she made it take 10 minutes. the pope's men were grinning out of awkwardness. anyone who watched that is going to be talking about it.

O and J need to get Gaffigan on to talk about this ASAP....it had to be an insane experience, just like Marron getting to interview Obama.

I'm from Philly but way too young to witness the booing of Santa Claus. However listening on WIP to people that were there Santa Claus weighed 140 lbs, was wearing a worn out suit and had a mangy beard. The Eagles were terrible and were getting crushed at half time.

Caught a lot of the broadcast of his set. Sounded like he did bomb but thought he was pretty edgy considering venue. One joke he said he partakes in 10% of the parenting duties of his five kids that's like half a day for a single mom. Another joke mentioned crazy Christian neighbors. Made fun of last pope, etc. Religious zealots were not amused.

Gaffagin truly lost the crowd after the bad santa clause joke. U guys stink am i right ur so mean u throw snoballs at Santa waka waka. It is the epitome of a hack joke about Philly. Should have had the great Colin Quinn out there, now there is a guy that gets the Philly sensibility. Also Ronnie B will most likely have the same issue wit that joke.
