I think we're still trying to figure out how we go about this so I figured we could pool up some ideas:

  1. several of us buy fake twitter followers for @BaldOpieRadio hopefully able to total 300,000 or more

  2. slaughtering the opieradio facebook page with pictures and messages. probably on a handful of coordinated days so it's not a weak smattering throughout the month.

  3. calls into the show. i'm skeptical on this one. we can't have dipshits calling in and getting shut down. Yelling "you guys are gay!" and hanging up is a failure as well. asking intensely awkward questions might be the best method i.e. "hey Jim why were you listening to that HOLD ON HOLD ON audio from youtube?"

  4. Pestering the living shit out of a celeb that has been on the show. Certain celebs probably don't care for the show that much but do it for the extra press on their project. If they were harassed online and it was opie hashtags they'll likely just decide it's best to stay away from the show. example of this might be Larry the Cable Guy.

If we all do it at the same time, it might be pretty funny.

I say we spend next week building up the anticipation that we're going to Jocktober the shit out of Opie, by harassing him on twitter, facebook, and instagram with messages like "JOCKTOBER IS COMING, OPIE! BE PREPARED!", but then we pull a fast one and actually end up Jocktobering Justin Stangel for 30 days straight until he either has a mental breakdown on air, contacts his lawyers, or just stops coming in. Comment the fuck out of his YouTube vids, spam his twitter, and destroy his instagram.

Opie has proven himself to be pretty hardened to this stuff. He'll just do another Harry the Hater and barely mention us on air. Stangel, though, he's soft. He isn't used to this shit at all. We can make him self-destruct in 30 days I think.

Could we spin it and convince Sam to take callers for an hour a day to call in and assist with him Jocktobering Opie? All he has to do is take the calls and let the callers Jocktober Opie on Sams show. Sam would only be guilty of letting callers speak their mind, is that wrong?

How about we get a few funny people from this sub to do a podcast together jocktobering the show?

It would have a pretty far reach just off the O&A/jocktober name and there's really nothing the show could do about it. What are they going to do, address it and be humiliated by an amateur podcast, or ignore it have everyone know that they were scared of their former fans on reddit?
