Ron and Fez is probably my favorite piece of entertainment ever. I ended my sirius sub 2 weeks into bennington because it's so boring.

the shitty R&F sub is a ghost town too.For years every second post was a "get rid of Fez"post,Fez fucked off and so did the listeners it would seem.

I actually like it, especially Hicks, but since Fez left theres no anger/drama. Also I HATE the constant music talk, always some old shit everyone already agrees was good. Also not interested in food...

gail is not necessarily a hole, but she has one emotion for every situation, which is excited positivity. so every show is feel-good and immensely boring. r&f was the opposite. there are must listens with zero jokes over 4h... +

It's true. I could deal with the fat face lip smacking and dead air if there was substance but it's totally void of any. It's boring as fuck and Ron thinks of himself a god

Bennington sucks. Ron and Fez was good because of the Fez meltdowns. Otherwise I never liked the show and thought Ron got to much credit. Fez even when he wasn't talking was still the star of that show.

Once you get rid of the insanity that was Fez, the unpredictable goofiness of East Side Dave, and a bumbling fuck like Black Earl, you don't have much to work with. All that's left now is Pepper Hicks to yes Ron to death and his fucking daughter who only kisses his ass. Bennington dropped off in entertainment value faster that Oqie and Jim.

I agree. A fat man who sounds like he's about to have a heart attack at any given moment and who thinks that his opinion is always right and everyone else is wrong, is not very good radio.

I haven't listened in months but I had nothing else to listened to so i downloaded a random episode from June to listen to in the car and it was truly awful. Pepper wasn't in that day and they had someone named Joey Joe Joe as third mic.

The thing I liked best about Ron and fez was that insanity could take hold of the show at any moment with Fez freaking out at someone or something and ranting about everyone being out to get him. That's gone now and the show really has nothing to offer without it.

Its the best show going today. I always legit laugh 3 or 4 times a show

i have listened, and she doesn't stop bits. she adds to them, pushes them further, and adds in voices.

i mean, ron is her father and she DOESN'T halt the show by saying "no nooo" when her dad is making hypothetical rape jokes that kind of hint at the inclusion of her. or other inappropriate things. she's very comfortable talking about very strange things with her dad.

i find the show amusing but i would echo the critiques that others are bringing up. still enjoy it though. but i also enjoy some hipster shit even though i really hate hipster shit, know what i mean?

I totally respect him for his interview work but I just don't get the guys show.

What I recall hearing some time ago was that Ron and Fez was supposed to be like a bunch of dudes in a car on a road trip shooting the shit.

This new 'Bennington' show is just kind of slow, boring, and Gail does nothing but agree with Ron, giggle, and say the same thing he does.

I like Ron and find him very funny and talented, but his show does nothing for me. I tried to listen to it a few times, and just couldn't do it.

I'd love to hear Ron with a solid #2. I think Sam would be fine. Or any top podcast guy. He has too carry a show, and sometimes it's just too much

Is it the same as Ron & Fez? No. But I was getting very tired of the Fez drama. It stopped being fun.

What is nice about Bennington is the host doesn't have a fake laugh that is annoying, doesn't interrupt people mid-conversation with something stupid, doesn't try to tell jokes just because, doesn't constantly call out other people for shit he does every single episode, etc etc. It's also nice when a comic that was on O&J that had a mediocre appearance (see reasons above) and then when they pop-up on Bennington and they can have a discussion that isn't plagued by talking about sugar or something else stupid that Opie still feels the need to talk about ad nauseam. It's nice when the host doesn't make a conversation about themselves.

Joe is fun and quirky, glad he is back. Plus Pepper Hicks is always a fun stumbling mess on the mic. I hope we get another drunk Hicks birthday party one day.

it is def an acquired taste, totally differnt than O&A ....i didnt like it at first but i started listening to R&F about a month before it ended, i like Bennington too though, jesus this place is fucking depressing and negative even for me haha

I think Ronnie B is a hilarious guy, but someone else funny needs to be added to the show. I feel like a Bennington x Marc Maron combo would bee absolutely epic. You also notice how I used the "x" to replace "and", this is done by rappers. So you know the shit will be cutting edge

Never liked Ron and Fez. O and A only liked them, because they complimented O and A.

I'd choose it over the Opie show anytime if I had to choose. I laugh out loud at least 2-3 times a show. Ron is a genius, but it's an acquired taste. You should force yourself to listen for a week when Opie is on one of his well earned vacations.

Agreed. Rons show would fit better on NPR at around 2pm on Tuesdays. Totally unfunny, anticlimactic boring banter about mostly classic rock deep cuts and uninteresting factoids.

I never listened because my favourite bits on R&F were the Fez bits. I really loved the weird later stuff with Shelby too. What happened to Shelby after the R&F show was dissolved?

I respect Ron because people that i respect, respect him. That is all, i don't get his style, i don't find him funny, and it's okay. That is also why I'm not a huge fan of Ant&Ron show when that gossip is being thrown around.

Just so we have a baseline, you don't like O&a, RF bennington O&J..what do you like?

It's a good show, I actually have a job so I can't listen enough to dissect it like you unemployed turds.
