Obviously you knew what you were getting with guests like Ann Coulter, but the show always had a pretty solid diversity in guests, and overall had a very libertarian slant. It was mostly a pop culture show that only got a little more conservative as it picked up steam and Greg started getting other gigs.
I never bothered to check out the Greg Gutfeld show, but for what it's worth I really started to like him as the host of Red Eye the last couple of years he was on it.
If it was him who was responsible for getting people like Gerald Casale (of Devo) and Glenn Danzig on the show (and I suspect it was) that's pretty fuckin' cool. Regardless if whether or not they were even a good fit or relevant guests to have on there.
