He has some great stories on all the podcasts I hear him on, so I started listening to his podcast with Joe List (who also tells hilarious / embarrassing stories), and it's pretty decent.
ya he had me laughing a lot, he was ripping on Larry the Cable Guy. When Larry brought up getting gifts in the mail from chik-fil-a and he said 'im surpised it wasnt a wrapped up dead gay kid' -- I was laughing so hard, he took all the air out of the room, Larry was so uncomfortable.
If opie was off the show, that would be great. Opie stepped on so many of joe and mark's lines today, it was embarrassing. A 30 year radio vet doesn't belong in the same room as 2 young comedians, such as them.
He's hysterical, the Tuesdays guys are quite great. Despite what you might hear around this place sometimes. They aren't tough crowd type comics, but they still like talking shit and are quick as hell.
I think some of Mark's details may be fabricated, like the guy who chased him around New Orleans. But as a fan of their podcast for a while, I don't think they spread too much BS.
His line about a Chick fil A sending Jeff Foxworthy a dead gay kid in a box cracked me up. Mostly because Larry the Cable Guy seemed pretty uneasy with the super crude humor, and Jimmy laughed his balls off at that one.
my favorite line of the day, he wouldnt let Larry off the hook for his shitty jokes, audibly sighing on the mic etc. While tits sits there and placates him because Larry is the highest grossing comic ever. That type of honesty is why I became a fan of the show in the first place.
Yea Larry obviously figured out that his prewritten one-liners weren't going over well. It's strange that he would have thought the show was a good format for that, since he's been on before. It was uncomfortable, which made it enjoyable for me. Opie did his best to loudly fake laugh at every fucking joke Larry threw out though.

Why couldn't he just passive aggressively shit on the show through Jim Norton-inspired usernames?

It's extremely rare that Jimmy truly laughs at another comic in studio. Normand is the only one who can get him laughing like Ant used to.

I like their comedy but their stories are so obviously fake.

Tuned in on the ride home cause I heard he was on. There is SO much less energy coming from Mark and Joe.
I'm a huge fan anywhere he goes but Mark on LoS or YKWD is so much better.

i think its cause its still a corporate radio show, not their friends in a basement like the other shows.

Listen to the latest Tuesdays with Stories. Holy shit, Joe List and Normand have ridiculous chemistry. Similar to Soder/Big Jay but more understated.
