they really are way more consistent than the OnA comics, besides louie, burr, patrice the others are just average. thats why LOS is compared to OnA so often, yes its a completely different show but it is a handful of NY/Cellar comics who are really good friends going on the radio and trashing each other.
and whats great about LOS is that every show is like like that, you dont have to sit through a dumb political rant, or a long bumbling, made up story, or super fans, or dumb callers, no boring celeb guests, no roland, no driving bits into the ground, no commercials.
kurt is always ranting, and his twitter rants are the worst. i was listening to his cd and he said kids nowadays sucks cause they are getting bullied by a box, it was awful and had to turn it off
Mike Vecchione is a bit older than the rest of those guys, but the fact that all of them are good friends and have good chemistry certainly propels their shows over the current O&J
JF: oh, you have vanity plates that read "D8Nite." That's really cool if you're in 3rd grade. You know what my plates read? Whatever the DMV gave me, because I'm too busy getting laid to worry about my license plates."
Not sure how you put that list out with out adding Big motherfucking Jay. He's basically reinventing himself within that generation and on the cusp of going over. He and Soder will have the best radio show around of they stick with it, once they start having guests it'll only get better.
Bargatze may be the best, his last CC special has been the best of 2015 IMO. Its kind of tacky to bring up the fact he doesnt curse either, but its really amazing he can hang pound for pound with anyone and not cuss.

I'd take a morning of Vos, Bobby and Colin Quinn smashing each other on O&A over any of this new stuff ..

I agree. Like Normand, Soder and List. But the meanness of the O&A comics to each other wins for me.

CQ comfortably belongs in the upper echelon with Patrice, Louie and Burr to me.

I think Florentine is still king. He took a month off and came back today with a brilliant podcast about vanity plates...

I guess I think of Big Jay and Metzger as being a generation above them... but I don't really know their ages or the nuances of the scene.

I honestly did not even notice that he didn't cuss until I read your comment, shows how genuinely funny he is.
