Of course he has, but what is he going to do on the West Coast? Whatever meagre connections he had in NY will be gone, he has no charisma or chance of success. If the plan is to do a celebrity based show,then getting good guests will be impossible in a city like LA with that much more competition.
I wonder if Opie/Stangels didn't suggest the move to management, to reduce any chance of competition,real or imaginary. Whatever triggered this,it's hilarious to see just how quickly they removed him from Opie,from a permanent on-air fixture during O&A to the other side of the country,in a different time zone.
