Opie should routinely suck Ron Bennington's dick. Ron did 3 hour shows sometimes, 100% alone. And then would do it again the next day. And he didn't just blabber, he was insightful, funny, didn't repeat stories. That's what radio legends are. Not someone going "Oh, I should probably read the book/watch the documentary for some guest coming in since jimmy isn't available Friday to do all the leg-work. And obviously I have to stop shitting on everyone or no one will bother to come in anymore."

ron has plenty of faults, but work ethic and hustle has never ever been one of them. it's pretty amazing.

If you really want to hate him listen to old clips and you can see how he is a character out of the Twilight Zone. I just watched a clip where he berates Howard for pretending to resign. The irony is too fucking much.

i just listened to every Nopie show on youtube in the past 2 months and decided to try a rich vos playlist. every time someone tells an interesting story, tits tries to top their story with something obviously made up and not even entertaining.

Its so fucking embarrassing to hear the people in the studio feign surprise/interest as he "pumps up the story for the show." Greggshells is real and has been active since day 1.

I listen to classic O&A clips on youtube. Even Jocktober in 2013 was still fucking A+ hilarity, but I agree, just Opie's overall presence in those clips leaves a stale taste in my mouth. He really damaged the legacy of O&A during the Human Garbage crying show
