yeah, he's pretty irrelevant. over the years you rarely ever heard him on air except to plug, which is just a perk of being in the circle of the show. and they'd have him on air occasionally for longer sessions, even had his fake bonos come in, and i think that was on terrestrial. all of his appearances were pretty average, nothing really controversial.
he had some nice stories about their childhood, different viewpoint.
so the only time anyone brings him up is on here, and they root around for twitter comments, which i never read. i just go by what has ever gone out on air, and he's just fine. nothing to really write home about. segments that i'd honestly just fast forward through if it was music related, i never got into U2.

Brother Joe is like a squirrely bass with his tough guy shenanigans. He'll reel you in for 35 seconds at a time with his macho bullshit and get loose just to swim back into the abyss.
