Schumer's people have her saying "gun control is good" and "making jokes at minorities' expense is mean and I regret doing it." Making those kinds of pandering statements might work for a woman comic who knows her dipshit, circa 2015 social media audience, but for a nobody like Jimmy it's not gonna give him any more traction than the small amount he already has.

There's only allowed to be one famous comic at any given time. They are anointed by parties unknown (Jews) and have praise and attention lavished on them for awhile, and are hailed as innovators and geniuses regardless of talent level. Chappelle, Dane, Gaffigan, and Louie all had their runs, and now it's Amy's turn on the pedestal. Wait a year or two and she'll fade back into relative obscurity. Of course, she'll probably be replaced by someone like Esther Ku or that stutterin' mutterin' prick from America's Got Talent.
