I saw him on Comedy Central once. He did his only setup-punchline joke, the "difference between men and women" one, the best Norm Macdonald joke Norm forgot to write—and they bleeped it. "Chicks cry when you [ALARM NOISE] 'em." Rouse doesn't move his lips quite like a normal person, so there was no way somebody who didn't already know the joke could tell what he said. You could only guess based on crowd reaction, and (the edit made it seem like) they were horrified. So CC inadvertently created and broadcasted the greatest rape joke of all time. I enjoyed that. (It was also the last time I watched anything on Comedy Central.)
Look I know we are a bunch of shitheads, but maybe we should do something nice for once and try to get Sean Rouse booked in more clubs that we all frequent. This guy is a hidden fucking gem. Its so sad seeing how underrated he is.
