Opie hate is everlasting, timeless, eternal. But Anthony hate is new, inward, and disappointment at ourselves for being such big fans.

The only chance these 2 faggots have of this subreddit to stop shitting all over them is to make nice with each other, support each other's show regularly with appearances, and get off twitter entirely.

I don't hate Opie at all. He has always been the same guy, love or hate him. Anthony was a really unique entertainer. I started listening in high school when I was a bleeding heart liberal, and Anthony got me hooked on the show. Having extreme political views, but still being funny and goofy is a special talent. Jon Stewart is the best example of that. He made his views clear, but even hardcore neo-cons thought he was funny. Ant stopped caring about funny, and it stinks.

I don't necessarily disagree with the assessment but I think ultimately at the end of the day <sniff> Opie is probably more self-aware and a better person than Ant. At a minimum I think he's more aware of his flaws and has at least gone to get help. Ant is only considered "nice" by people around him because he throws money at everything.

I just hate no one is funny anymore. Both shows are a train wreck.

Opie's been the same unfunny guy just lamer, but people kind of get it due to the family, running some shit, etc.
