... Lie of the Day!  Lie of the Day!  Lie of the Day!

Heyyyy there, gang.

We’ve been away for a while, but we’re back with a very special edition of Lie of the Day. On today’s extra special show, we’re covering Mr. Anthony Cumia and the recent doxing scandal surrounding the poor, old fellow. It’s a long one, I know, but I’ll try to keep it as brief as possible.

I’m sure you’re all aware of what’s happened and how Old Man Cumia originally flipped and flopped over whether he threatened to dox or not, but he’s since made himself completely clear that he did, eventually offering money for someone’s address and personal information. We all know his views but, just as an example, here is a video from just his most recent show. For those of you that don’t have time I typed out the main part below:

Ant: “...So it’s called doxing, and, erm… I am all for it! I could give a flying fuck what people do with doxing. Short of taking your credit card information and using it for a crime – shit like that is already on the books as a crime. But exposing someone’s name and address and sometimes phone number; I could give a shit. G’ahead, do it. Do it!

Ant: “Doxing!? Likes it’s some kind of cardinal sin of the internet. And the only people that are pissed about doxing ever, are the people that throw shit out there anonymously at people.

It appears from this and all his recent actions that – as The Opester would say – he is all in with the doxing... Or, is he just doubling-down after putting his foot in his mouth?

Well, gang, to find out, let’s rewind all the way back to March of 2012. There are rebels fighting in Syria, Putin recently got re-elected in Russia, and George Zimmerman has just killed a black man.

In connection with that last part, there was outrage in the black community and movie director, Spike Lee, tweeted out what he thought was the home address of young Mr. Zimmerman, there was outrage in the press about this and Lee came under lots of criticism.

But, now, giving what we’ve just learned about Old Man Cumia’s thoughts on doxing, you’d bet your bottom dollar that he would be right behind Mr Lee’s actions, right gang? Well let’s see…

Once again, here’s the audio if you have time to listen to it, (it starts at 01:50, gang) but I’ve gone ahead and cherry-picked the good parts and typed them out below for you if you haven’t got time for that...

Opie: “Spike Lee should be arrested. Breaking news; Spike Lee should be arrested.

Anthony: “I think anybody else would be in that situation. We’d be fired and probably have some kind of charges put against us, if we even put out somebody’s address out there, with the intent of having some kind of violence perpetrated on them."

Opie: “Spike Lee should be brought in for questioning.

Ant: “Yeah.

Opie: “He really should.

Ant: “Yeah.

Ant: “Yeah, he had a motive there, and what he did was wrong.

Now, you know me, gang. I don’t like to editorialise these things. But, I’m sorry, I think I’m just going to have to type out that last quote one more time.

Ant: “Yeah, he had a motive there, and what he did was wrong.

Welp, there you have it, folks.

He's all against doxing in one situation, calling for people to be brought in for questioning and saying that it is wrong. But, then, once he gets caught-out threatening to dox he's "all for it", and even offers money to obtain someone's private information.

Okay, that’s all for today’s episode, you take care now, gang, and we’ll see you next time here on Lie of the Day.

Jesus Christ. Do you snort adderall right before you log on to Reddit?

I can't believe his current views are different from ones 3 year's ago! What an outrage.

Also if this were the case, it would be hypocrisy not lying.

I know I may have missed it, but did Ant put any one personal info on twitter? No?

Did Spike Lee post the WRONG address for the Zimmermans? He did?

You mean to tell me there's a difference?
