To O&A fans. How did Opie not get when to be quiet?

We knew you were on the show. You talked over comedy legends. Why?

Funny things are happening around him and he has nothing to say so he panics and just goes "EUHH UUMM I MUST JUMP IN WE GOTTA GO TO HAROLD FROM NORTH CAROLINA..." its almost like hes just yelling "EVERYBODY DONT FORGET IM HERE IM A PART OF THIS TOO!!"

Opie, like Anthony, is basically a nerd with an edge. He's good at organization and negotiation, which none of the funny people seem to be other than Louis CK (the fact he got signed to another two year deal with a raise is fucking insane and he seems to hook up comedians with shows as best he can). He tries to make jokes and they normally bomb but imho hits a solid triple about once or twice a year so whatever.
I have to hang out with corny/neurotic people at work all the time, he's hardly the worst.

Who is this "O&A" you speak of?

He used to be really good at sitting back and letting things flow. There was a certain point several years ago, I think it was around the same time he got on Twitter and Youtube, where he decided he wanted to be a personality rather than a host.

Because he is a half step from actually being Lady Di or Bobo. That's why he always hated them, as well as the reason he always bitched about how the Hoarders/mental illness clips affected him.
It's called narcissism.
