I get (and take an active part in) the criticism of Ant's unhealthy obsession with all things racial and his unwillingness to admit that his set at the roast was a disgusting drunken bomb.
Those things are all fair game. Yesterday he explained that the whole "doxxing" episode was only him threatening someone who had posted Anthony's personal info and threatened him first, so all he really did was even the playing field. There was no doxxing whatsoever, we don't even know who it was. But this place seems unhinged and is taking the hostility towards Ant to a level that rivals the one directed at Sugar Tits. I've even seen rare comments praising and even defending that milquetoast faggot.
I know it's frustrating that Ant won't admit that the majority of his listeners don't want racial/political talk everyday, but the escalation of the rhetoric here has also coincided with Ant not coming back in a month or so, which leaves him surrounded by the opinion of yes-men like Keith the Cuck and his like-minded political fans.
So where is all this unnecessary shit coming from?

It's very simple:
Anthony, like his ex-partner, is a pathological liar. You'd have to be extremely credulous (look in the mirror) to believe his version of events without independent corroboration.

I get that. That's why most of his recounting of recent shit with Opie is dubious. But the doxxing issue was pretty straightforward and he never posted anything online so there doesn't seem to be anything really there. It just seems that people wish him more harm than good at this point.

What makes you think it was straightforward? He told Soder the day before that it was in response to the guy busting his balls about the roast, THEN changed his story to it being personal info related. So he flat out lied.

I still think he's kind of funny but his attitude in the last year or two has made it tough to really like him. He just gets drunk all day, brags about all his money, and talks shit about everyone he used to interact with. He hates pretty much everyone except like white cowboys or whatever, and constantly berates and threatens his fans.
Also while I think the thing Opie said about Anthony getting fired not because of the race thing was him kind of covering for Ant, he was (especially around 2013-2014) saying violent shit when he'd get drunk and when he was gambling he's tweet stuff like "If you see a dealer named Ron, BEAT THE FUCK OUT OF HIM"
So probably a lot of it is just wanting him to be a little more laid back and funny again

I've seen this theory and I don't see how it could possibly be true. It simply comes down to people expected more from Ant and after a year are realizing the show has not become what we hoped it would.
