Ant is a piece of shit for threatening to doxx someone by any means, but I honestly don't think he used subscriber payment information to do it. For one thing, he would have needed to know that the guy was a subscriber, and he would have needed his real name to cross-reference it with his sub records. And if he already had his real name, there would have been plenty of other ways to doxx him.

Guy probably had his real name on his Twitter so Ant looked through his subscribers. Honestly it was probably easiest to do it that way.

Even if we accept his story in this case there is still the problem that:

1) In the past he has stated he has used law enforcement contacts to run people's names.

2) Even if he didn't do that in this case it does severely damage his credibility when it comes to handling sensitive information -- the total lack of regard for his listeners has always been apparent but this is a huge breach of trust.

3) He is a vile person and he loses any moral superiority when it comes to matters of discussing personal freedom as this is completely antithetical to that worldview in every way.

4) His inability to ever admit wrong is fucked up. Get some help. Daddy isn't going to love you, he's dead.

1) Without knowing what was said I can't make a definitive comment on that either way. If someone said "I'll kill you" or "I know where you live" it does change things. If it was "you bombed at the roast" he's a piece of shit.
