O&A would like people to believe they have millions of listeners, but I think level-headed estimates put it at a few hundred thousand. I think that's a fair number for a paid subscription model.
So how many people subscribe to the Anthony Cumia Network? We don't know, but let's throw out a number that seems realistic. 10,000? I think Ant could get 10,000 people subscribing based on his previous fame and his newfound fame with more hardcore right-wing people (and maybe a decent amount of White Supremacists.) That's a fraction of what he had before.
So 10,000 subscribers at just under $8.00 a month? That puts him at $80,000 in revenue per month. That's $960,000 per year, and that's not including previous savings and whatever the fuck else (most of the network infrastructure seemed to be already in place.)
I don't give a fuck about his finances one way or another but for a former tin-knocker turned racist ornery pedophile, I think he's doing okay. I think he can afford the rent on that place and still be pulling a profit. Let's also remember that he brought on a previously free podcast to join the network, along a controversial and altogether disgraced Canadian provocateur. I don't think he's paying a lot for the talent, although I could be wrong.

Average office space in NYC is in the neighborhood of $50 sq/ft. Given the pictures posted, it looks like it's at least 5,000 sq ft. That'd make rent alone $250,000 a year, PLUS utilities, PLUS equipment, PLUS construction (unless that was folded into the lease sq/ft price), PLUS whatever additional staff he'd need, PLUS having to sign a 3-5 year minimum term lease.
So this means one of two things:
1) Anthony has tons of money in the bank even with his reckless lavish lifestyle and still has no problem dumping a couple million dollars into a sinking ship with no real revenue and no one here knows what they're talking about.
2) Anthony's subscriber numbers (and growth trend) are high enough to justify dumping a couple million dollars into a studio, still live his reckless lavish lifestyle and no one here knows what they're talking about.
3) It's only 2,000 sq ft, only requires a 1-2 year lease, limited additional equipment and staff given he'd probably move the majority of what he has to the main office, thus a much smaller investment than your estimate. Not quite the risk you mention, and a more likely middle ground between having endless subscribers and being a sinking ship.

Let's look at the finance part of this...
Average office space in NYC is in the neighborhood of $50 sq/ft. Given the pictures posted, it looks like it's at least 5,000 sq ft. That'd make rent alone $250,000 a year, PLUS utilities, PLUS equipment, PLUS construction (unless that was folded into the lease sq/ft price), PLUS whatever additional staff he'd need, PLUS having to sign a 3-5 year minimum term lease.
So this means one of two things:
1) Anthony has tons of money in the bank even with his reckless lavish lifestyle and still has no problem dumping a couple million dollars into a sinking ship with no real revenue and no one here knows what they're talking about.
2) Anthony's subscriber numbers (and growth trend) are high enough to justify dumping a couple million dollars into a studio, still live his reckless lavish lifestyle and no one here knows what they're talking about.

There is now a dawgshed-esque element of "point of no return"-hatred towards Anthony here, as evidenced by the upvotes for gsbird's comment, the downvotes for yours, as well as the glee with which this sub pounced on Ant's bombing at the Big Jay roast, and his refusal to acknowledge the bombing.
Even if Anthony manages to claw himself out of the hole he's dug for himself, some people will keep trying to throw him back in it. And even if things do start to go well (funny) for TACS, there will always be something to complain about, and you can bet it will be, disproportionately.
It's pointless to try to reason with this mentality; some people need to hate Anthony from now on, no matter what he does. To a portion of O&A's (former) fan base, it's completely immaterial what Anthony does from now on; he's on the "hate" list, and he ain't gettin' off it.

I never said it was not possible. I am saying that it is very likely he has quite a sum of money considering the MILLIONS he was paid. Yes, we all know he lives life nigger rich, but it is not all that crazy of a lifestyle. The taxes are nuts in that area, but not all that bad.
I am assuming that he has his house paid for, so I could be completely wrong. Even factoring in the ex wife/whore taking a couple million, the pool, the shelby, the theater.....he has made millions. Assuming everything was paid for in full, he could maintain that setup for maybe 1,000,000 for the rest of his life. Fuck, he is almost old enough to do a reverse mortgage as a senior citizen ;)
