If Ant was able to laugh about the fact that he bombed, he would gain back so much respect. The other day I watched the VideOandA clip where they took apart a terrible comic on an old '80s TV show and it was hilarious. Imagine if he did that to himself, and even got Jimmy, Vos or whoever to take part, they could have played it back on his show and played some of the old audio drops and it would have been hilarious.

But, he has become so insecure and sensitive to any criticism that he refuses to even admit that he bombed, let alone have fun with it. Plus, if he laughed about it, then everyone else would be able to. There wouldn't have to be these forced Twitter responses and phone calls from Luis J. Gomez and Jimmy. They don't want to have to placate this old man, Luis and Soder jump on people in an instant when they bomb on YKWD - but they have to tell Ant that he didn't to appease him. They must hate that.

Even more frustrating is that, after so many years with Jim, he hasn't learned the value of self-deprecation. How many times did Jimmy turn a joke around and get a laugh after bombing by acknowledging that it didn't work? Even callers would get a laugh when they said "...oh no, I'm panicking - punching out."

If he just initially admitted that he bombed on his show, then all of the criticism and mockery on here would probably stop. But now, even if he admitted it, it wouldn't matter. We've all seen how phony and overly sensitive he's become, and how the people he's surrounded himself with will tell him anything.

Hell, even Opie was able to laugh when they all watched his old demo reel on the show.

Ehhhh, Opie has to have a 20-year grace period before he'll take a ball-busting with grace. He would never tolerate a real evisceration of something he did recently.

There's one episode of PFG TV they watched where Scorch bombs in nearly the same way, repeating punchlines, mentioning it being a tough crowd. The only difference is Scorch is likable because he's blissfully unaware and does charity work.

That's what I can't figure out. The selective editing of the clip says "My feelings are hurt, and I'm lying," but his tone for the whole episode says, "I honestly think I did well and can't believe how unreasonable everyone is being."

Ant's a sensitive baby. The people were already turning on him before this Bombing Bonanza. So little spaghetti boys guard was already up and he can't take it. He thought he was the untouchable golden boy of the O&A crowd for the past year... Say what you will about Opie, but he's taken the horrific poundings much better than Ant, and some would say he's even become more self aware and laughs at himself more because of it.

Here's hoping this culminates in Ant crying on air.

Anthony is no longer in media or the "entertainment" business. He does a podcast and hocks as seen on tv product's from his house. He needs to maybe go on free to air radio or make his podcast free and try and make money that way. How many people do you think actually know who he is at this point?

I think Ant was even braver then Caithlyn Jenner to do the stand up. Seriously I think it just this: a guy who did stand up for the first time.
