Opie's show prep, or lack there of..

Anyone else notice how Opie is REALLY slacking, more so lately than in the past, at his show prep. In the last week he didn't read any of Corey Taylor or Randy Blyhte's books and then today he hadnt even watched one episode of Bobby's new show.
I try not to bitch much but seriously..get over yourself Gregshells and at least pretend to give a shit about what your guests are promoting....Jesus Christ...

Over the last 6-7 months he seemed to be doing an OK job of prepping, but yeah lately he's slacked off and not even trying to cover it up

Yeah it's been bad lately...I think the Corey and Randy things got to me because a.) I'm a fan of both and sucks to see them get blown off and b.) he purposely brings in Florentine in every time a band guy is on and its like he just doesn't give a fuck because Florentine has got it.

I also liked how he gave both Corey and Randy the old "I just got the book yesterday excuse", meanwhile Jim had read like half of Randy's book already...fuckin' jackass.. Like Randy had serious shit to talk about and the Opester couldn't spend an hour to even read one chapter out of a book?
Or how he said he listened to some Slipknot AFTER Corey was on the show?! Get a grip dude...seriously.

ME: you know, it's just a laid back show, we don't really prep, we just roll in and riff on whatever comes up. Management loves it.
