It reminded me of when I was in grade school and had to give a presentation in front of the class and just wanted to get it over with as quickly as possible. Like, he had some decent lines amongst his shitty ones but he gave no time between his jokes.
It's almost like it's a surprise that a hermit surrounded by yes men who spends his time preaching to the converted didn't do well in a public setting in front of an objective crowd.
