Krill&Sea&Salt&Fins alright!

"You know what dude, you got your baleen' dude..."

"Ya know what DEEEEUUUD, ya getcha krill, ya getcha coffee..."

The article says that Leary's band is a 1970s or 1980s style arena rocker but the band peaked in the 1980s and 1990s. They seem like Boston, Cheap Trick or Steve Miller Band or something from the reviews but it doesn't make sense stylistically or in the time frame. The band's name is The Heathens and they are said to be a stylistic precursor and influence on Nirvana. But shouldn't the band so clearly not have achieved much fame and instead be based more upon The Melvins, with Leary in the Buzz Osbourne role?

I would have Leary's daughter modeled after a 1990s/2000 pop starlet who was a competitor to people like Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears, maybe somebody like a Jessica Simpson, who fizzled out and wants to make a landmark style genius throwback record in the vein of early Melvins for critical acclaim and underground cred, not mainstream music in 2015.

There is nothing burning up the charts that sounds anything like a Nirvana influence (Meat Puppets, Scratch Acid, The Germs, Dead Kennedys, Melvins, Descendants, Wipers, D.I., Nomeansno, etc).

Sounds exactly like what I expected.

Bobby explained why they called it 'sex &' ...because they're was already something called Sex, drugs & rock 'n roll ..there was a genuine reason why it couldn't be called that .I can't remember the exact details.

Sounds way more like what an old man trying to be cool would write.
