In the final minutes of Tuesday's show Jimmy took a call on his mobile while his studio mic was on. He concluded the call saying "and we'll schedule the 'ol endoscopy." (I played it back to confirm he said endoscopy not colonoscopy)
With the outpouring of concern about Jim's health recently, I'd encourage folks to learn about the endoscopy procedure. It's often associated with very serious issues but issues that can be successfully overcome if diagnosed early.
All my thoughts and prayers to Jim that the endoscopy doesn't detect anything serious.

Jim is the king/queen of bad diet. Yes, he's lost a lot of weight, but he looks like Robert Durst now. He needs to eat a real diet with protein, not these fairy diets that are all the rage with housewives who want to lose 20 pounds before their husbands take them on vacation.

I'm a recovered/ing anorexic and jimmy definitely set off my radar too. Back when they were always using the nutribullet or whatever and talking about what was in their drinks and jimmy couldn't eat fruit because it had sugar I had to stop listening because it was ~triggering~

Yes, last year I had an endoscopy for a hiatal hernia, I too lost a lot of weight because I couldn't fit that much food in my stomach without barfing, I was only eating like one meal a day until it healed.
You fellas need to relax with this shit.

It could literally be anything throat, stomach, esophagus etc. related. They could be checking for ulcers or if he has bad heartburn checking to see if his stomach/esophagus are okay.

A colonoscopy is a kind of endoscopy. There's no distinction there.
He said something about how he's shitting ten times a day, and he certainly looks like he does. That's usually a result of a stupid dieting error or an immune system problem (sometimes triggered by "foreign substances" in the colon).
No big deal, probably, but when you're an anorexic homo, shit happens.
