Didn't he have (at least one) platinum album and make like 100 million from some vitamin water? How the fuck is he bankrupt? Get a good accountant and minimise the "entourage" (parasites).

I read somewhere that he probably isn't bankrupt. He could be declaring it to combat the $5m lawsuit against him. He probably has plenty of money and assets tucked away safely in various entities.

Well I didn't know anything about any 5 million dollar lawsuit so, fuck me. If what you say is true then declaring bankruptcy is probably a smart decision on his part, as long as his assets can't be directly traced back to him on paper. I like the guy, based on his appearance on O&A that I heard, he was a charming and smart dude. So hope he prevails. Either way, he's probably not going to be hurting for money.

Well now, don't you feel like a "jump the gun Johnny"?

If I do, hope you feel like "swallow the gun Johnny." No offence, brah.

I take offense to offence.

I'm a Limey, we invented the language and spell it with a c instead of an s. Sorry, my transatlantic bastard cousin.

You were a few thousand years late inventing modern language. The British just took the corpse of Latin and made a bastard. Americans then raped that bastard and then made a spinoff mongoloid retard. Well, at least I think that's what they taught us in our failing public school system.

Did they really teach you that? That couldn't be more wrong. Romance languages are based on Latin - Italian, Spanish etc. English is a West Germanic language, more closely related to other Proto-Germanic languages like German, Swedish and Dutch. True, the Romans occupied Britain before the Anglo-Saxons arrived, and Modern English still has some Latin words (though these are mostly medical and legal terms) but the English language has a far more complex and rich history and development than just being a bastardised form of Latin, which is really what Italian, for example, is. American English is also interesting. You have a talent for the idiom - "crazy as a shit-house rat" is a favourite.

Ooops

"The redcoats are coming" - and lost. Relax. An island the size of Michigan conquered 2 thirds of the globe and established the lingua franca of today. Deal with the spelling differences - colour, humour, flavour etc.

A rapper going broke? No way.
3 tags33 2015-07-13
He's not going broke or hiding assets. He's doing a business bankruptcy, not a personal one. It will give him time to free up assets and possibly do a payment plan for the girl that sued him. It's just a legal tactical move, like Trump's hotels declaring bankruptcy.

Trump's whole empire is built on junk bonds and tactical bankruptcies.

Bankrupt does not equal broke.

This is like the entertainment report on Fox news.

I guess one could say he's temporarily rich due to unwise spending.
2 RedOak_Candor 2015-07-13
Is there a term for that type of rich?
