In Boston, want to visit where it all started (O&A comedians)

Hey guys, I've been listening to O&A/RNF since the virus days around 04. I am in Boston for work until Friday and Monday is my only day were I have some time to see the city (never been here before).

Does anyone off the top of their head remember the name of the Comedy Club in BOS we have heard all those great stories from about O'Neal, Burr, Norton, Vos, Kelly, Cook etc just bustin eachothers balls after their shows?

I would love to visit and get a picture taken of the club and see the table were all of our favorite comedians learned how to get to were they are now.

Thanks guys!

But more likely the Comedy Connection which is closed now, and today is the Charles Playhouse.

The story you are thinking of specifically that Vos and Patrice talked about is Nick's.

Thank you dawgsie!

I remember hearing Burr talking about his Wilbur theatre show mentioning how ironic it is that one of his biggest shows he's done is across the street from were he first started doing open mics.

I saw wheelchair Fred at the Joe's bar and grille near Columbus park one time probably 12 years ago.

Try not to go too far south of the Pike.

fuck off, south shore for life

whatever, town spa fags

Hahaha I live in that exact town.

I can't lie, that pizza fucking rules

I can't lie, I was planning on getting it tonight.

Lynwood is better.

Also The Boston Comedy Club which now is also defunct

Pretty sure the Boston was in NYC.

You're thinking of the comedy cellar, and it's in New York not Boston.

Pretty sure Nicks temporarily relocated to inside the Wilbur, so you won't be able to see the original place.

Thank you dawgsie!
