I began listening back in 8th grade--I am in my late 20s now.
They taught me the importance of hard work, perseverance and believing in yourself. They demonstrated that if you are talented enough, work hard enough and WANT it enough--you can do anything.
No matter what life threw their way (e.g., firings, stations changing format, etc.), they still pushed through and put out great radio.
They stood by their friends and what they believed in--that always left an indelible mark on me.
