No, that line is not from Fargo. These were always used a lot:
"Oh ya? Is it reasonable?"

"Gotta get that trucoat"
"This is my deal Wade!"

One of my favorite bits was when Anthony would relate a story that had happened to friends of his, but it was really a Seinfeld plot, and Opie and Jim would miss it.
16 robobot 2015-07-12
The best one was when they were talking about the knock-out game and Ant did that with the Seinfeld finale.

"Hi John" is a reference to the prank phone call Opie made to an old lady about some guy named "Bob" (or whatever the name was) died. She asked for Opie's name and he said John, so she acknowledged him by saying "Hi John!" in an old lady kinda way. It's funny clip, which I'm too lazy to search out, so go fuck yourself

Opies talking about Harvey Levin from tmz, I felt ashamed even typing that.
1 michaeIcolestie 2015-07-12
What do YOU think about Opies reference to Harvey Levin?
1 DapperDan0979 2015-07-12
It's originally a reference to The Honeymooners episode where Ralph is going to fight a man named Harvey. That's how he says it.
But I'm sure Opie did bastardize it to make it about the TMZ guy.

"Linger longer" -- I understand what it means, but how did that phrase originate?
14 mr__hat 2015-07-12
"Linger longer" is a catchphrase used by The Greaseman that has been co-opted by Opie and Anthony. The phrase is often used whenever a reference to a past show is mentioned. Listeners are told they should "linger longer" (i.e. spend more time listening to the show) to understand the reference.
*
Doug Tracht, AKA The Greaseman is a radio DJ who was fired in 1999 after making a joke about blacks being dragged behind trucks, but has since returned to the air. After Opie and Anthony got in trouble for the Sex for Sam 3 incident, Greaseman appeared on Fox News criticizing O&A. Anthony does a spot-on impression of him.
Greaseman is known for unnecessarily rolling his R's, goofing on non-whites, and using a hackey radio voice. Some of his catchphrases include "Linger longer", "Bone dry", "Slingin' lead" and "Waddle doodle".
11 Patmcpsu 2015-07-12

If I remember correctly Jimmy actually did some swim-walking in the pool as exercise one day and he made fun of himself and how old/dorky it is. It then morphed into a "congratulatory self-pat" after a zinger.
I like using it in everyday life.

A voice over guy (sorry I forget his name) was doing commercial reads in the sound booth with Steve C. Steve told the guy that they are done for the day and he replied "OK terrific" into the mic.
EDIT: From OApedia,
"OK, Terrific" is a sound bite taken from an Opie & Anthony WNEW station sweeper (circa 99-00), spoken by the only production employee of the show at the time.

6 CuckECheese 2015-07-12
In comedy, a whole joke-setup-punchline structure is called a bit. Thus, if someone criticizes a joke in a literal fashion they're an idiot because "that's the bit."
