Do anyone else find it terribly ironic that Opie is giving all these opportunities to the Race Wars podcast?

I love the podcast and think Metzger is hilarious, but it just find it funny that Opie supports a podcast that deals with race and race issues, yet that is the reason that his ex-sidekick was fired.

I think secretly, Opie is just as much as a racist as Ant ever was but he never voiced it.

I think Opie is the more common type of racist: he has the standard stereotypes in his head and is too stupid to ever examine them. Ant is a more "intellectual" racist (as "intellectual" as someone can be without reading a book), like a 19th-century Frenchman measuring Irish skulls. Ant's a true believer who goes to racist church every Sunday. Opie is a racist out of habit who maybe celebrates Racist Easter and Racist Christmas.

I lost control of my metaphor there, but I think it makes sense.

Holy shit you described it perfectly.

Neat

lol

This is a great comparison

It came out in little moments, like when he was reading WSHH comments and did a voice he thought black people used.

thats not racist, though. I hate opie more than the next guy, but Im not gonna call him a racist because he used a stereotypical voice.

I'm trying to pile on with the Opie hate, don't crush my spirits.

ok, your heart is in the right place, its all good.

ME: I'm ALL-IN with the Opie hate!

Opie is whatever gets him one more like on his doc show facebook page. His tits are empty vessels desperately flailing about trying to fill themselves with relevance.

Name one black friend of Opie's

Name any friend of Opie's? Vos don't count, mainly because he can't.

Exchushe me 141 IQ

You read Jshohn?

Very true- like his basketball story when they went to play in Amityville.

He wanted the one black kid in their school to 'take care' of all the black fella's on the other team!

I think there's a difference between "dealing with race issues" and tweeting that "they" aren't people (after you got beat up by a girl).

Well, to be fair most of them don't act civilized humans...

You silly goose.

: D

I don't think it's a coincidence that they got signed to Sirius very quickly after the TACS appearance. It does appear that Opie is trying to build his channel like Ant is building his network... It's not a bad idea actually. Stern has two channels that have jack shit for programming other than reruns...

That's a fair point.

Anthony didn't get fired for "dealing with race issues."

Debatable.

Anthony's tweets are not "dealing with race issues." They are dealing with personal issues.

Haha. That is a fair way to put it.

Not really.

I'm listening to the podcast now & this sub ruined Sherrod for me

Eh, he is still better than Opie.

the fuck does that say?

Yes, Anthony was fired for 'dealing with race issues.' The content on Race Wars is nothing like TACS.

Do you dislike Ant?

I liked him on Opie and Anthony. Since their dissolution he's proved himself to be a pretty unlikable person.

Sidekick? Try more popular co-host that was the draw of the show since the 1990s.

I also wonder why Chuck was given the hotline number and permitted to call in as "Wacky Racist Southerner Guy!!!" all the time.

I was kidding about the 'sidekick' comment. Take it easy.

Also, I have no idea. Chuck is retarded.

I am a bit of a nut. The DOC-Tober last nigh has my juices flowin.

there is a big difference between dealing with race and race issues and what ant does, which is not deal with them, but point out the issues, again and again, without humor. like its fucking groundhog day. hey gang, its the 11th of july and black people are still savages. aren't they horrid. cops should kill more of them. talk tomorrow x
