I saw Screech before at a comedy club, he was actually decent, but relied too much on the whole "I didn't expect this guy to talk like that" angle that Bob Saget does, trying way too hard to be shocking and distance himself from his Saved By the Bell character. He had a pretty funny joke about how going down on an old bitch is like pulling apart a grilled cheese sandwich. He said that joke was "just for us" and that he'd be repeating it on Showtime's "White Boyz in the Hood", a comedy special that ran weekly for a short time. They ended up cutting him from the special lol.
Afterward though, he had the clubs bodyguard ordering people not to take pictures of him, as he was selling polaroid pictures for $10 a piece to "save his house". I went with my sister, her best friend, and her best friends younger sister (I think she was like 16), and he was creepily hitting on her when she got her pic taken.
He just seems like a douche bag. I can't remember where exactly I saw him before (it was on TV) but he was talking about how he could kick some person's ass, how tough he was, blah blah blah..
"If I tried using tried and tested material, stuff that has worked for 20 years and that I know works, and that will kill, if I use that now they're just gonna' say it's not funny" ..
