Also, why would they show him destroying a Wight Champion with one swipe, and the (for the lack of anything to call him) Wight Lord to take notice and interest in him. I cannot see him gone forever.
I am not a GoT book reader, only because I know the series went off the books, and I do not want to scream at the TV like I do when I watch them butcher Stephen King books.
