I'm going to make some uploads soon

I have every show from about 2004. I shouldn't be adding any doubles of whats on YT, cause I've heard pretty much all of the clips there.
Any requests? year/month helps but I can probably find it any way.

I've listened to a ridiculously high percentage of shows since '98 and IMO the earlier stuff doesn't hold up. NEW shows are romanticized by some folks as the halcyon days but I don't necessarily agree. Post walkover era was the best the the show ever was IMO.

I'd have to agree. I've searched out for a few of their WNEW shows, just to see what all the fuss was about back in those days.. and wow, it's horrendous. I don't know what's worst, WNEW opie and anthony, or Jim Norton's stand-up

NEW was great fun to listen to live, but it doesn't work as archival recordings.
It's like how going to Youtube to watch early SNL or '80s Letterman episodes doesn't really work, but the shows were great to watch happen. It's not that they "don't hold up," like we're too smart for that shit now. We're not. But now was part of the show, and it's not now now.
2006-11 or so of O&A is still a good listen, from the walkover days until Patrice died. The show had the most "dudes bullshitting" and the least "radio" in it then.

Agreed.

As others have touched on, an archive with post-walkover shows would be great, OP. Years 2006-2011 was when O&A shined.

I can't really help you out on recommendations I started listening in 2010 (and it's all thru youtube), but what's your channel? Would definitely like to check some of your uploads out

XM was the pinnacle, they actually tried, they had Steve C with good production that was actually edgy (over the top on purpose, which was always his style), Ramon/ bad guest day. Box of cocks, Edmund Fitzgerald bit, "The hole" audio clips. Nigga Vs Nazi.
I am sorry, these guys fucking sprouted vaginas, because money and maintainance of lifestyle became more important than actually being funny or living up to what you billed yourselves as.
They are doing great at fooling new listeners, but we know how it used to be.

I can't find the misheard lyrics bit literally anywhere. The one where they find the word nigger in highway to hell. It was early 2014 I think.

Why does everyone go to youtube for shit that always gets banned? there are many sites out there that have all the content/archives and few with alot of it streaming. Not knocking your idea for a new youtube channel but I think it has already been done many times over.

I don't know. YouTube seems to be the centralized place. I hear you though.
And it has been done many times over - but I'm carefully choosing clips that have not been on YT. I've heard every single O&A related clip on YT, so I think I have a good shot of not producing doubles.
