Putting Bennington on the channel....(why Opie is stupid)

Opie is kind of stupid to put Bennington on fridays. I listened to his show today and it was really good. Just funny, smooth, and people genuinely enjoying radio. They talked about band names and i forget what else. But its simply teaching people how much OandJ sucks. Bennington is the funniest talk show host on sirius from what i've heard.

Opie does not have the final decision on what shows do and do not appear on the Opie Readio channel.

Part of the problem though, is that every fuckwad is getting a channel. It's stupid.

It would be so much wiser if they consolidated so many of the shows to one or two channels, with off-shoots of replays etc...

Howard deserves his own channel, but let's be honest- that's about it. All else should be up for revamps. Having some decent shows on throughout the day would keep people listening to one or two channels. At least checking in to see what's up.

Doing stupid shit like having Bran Muffins going on at the same time as Bennington is stupid. Those guys should both be on the same channel with O&J, keeping people on the same fucking channel.

There are other shows that they could run that may not be fitting for everyone, but at least you're narrowing it down for people wanting to listen.

Playing a Joe Rogan podcast in the middle of a Saturday is fine, but there are so many other shows that they could have.

Bennington deserves its own channel replaying the show and tossing Unmasked replays in there. Besides ERock's show, they might as well just shut down the rest of OpielRaqio. It is all garbage.

The show moving to Raw Dog Comedy was a terrible idea IMO, especially since apparently you can't rewind the show on that particular channel if you're listening to it live.

But yes, it's one of the few assets the OpieRaqio channel has right now.

I bet he picked up a lot of new listeners by moving to Raw Dog. OpieRaqio is a tiny bubble, Ronny B is getting a lot more exposure by being the 'voice' of Raw Dog.

I thought the show stunk today. I love Ron, but his supporting cast are terrible.
