His show was awful on WNEW. They were only brought on 92.3 and then satellite, because they kissed up to O&A.

I agree some of shows WNEW don't hold up but neither do O&A. After everything happen last year I had time to listen to a lot of old shows. From Howard, O&A, & Ron & Fez I've listen to some best moments and truthfully Ron & Fez shows hold up more than all the others. Now maybe I say this cause the whole reveal with Ant & Opie has tarnished those memories & Stern has been terrible since Sirus started. One thing you can't argue is that Ron the last few years has moved past these guys cause he preps & actually cares.

Ya I agree. I started listening to O&A but eventually I found myself listening to more Ron and Fez. O&A are great when they are yucking it up with comedians, but I don't want to listen to JUST dick jokes and puking all day long unlike most of the O&A fan base. They are totally different types of comedy.

When it was Ron and Fez, I would often change the channel due to dead air, filling time, talking about Fez's problems, etc. But I always enjoyed Ron's contribution to the show. Now that he has a partner he can play off of, the show is infinitely better. The interviews are, and always have been great. Now the daily talk is sooo much better. Ron seems happy and he's having fun. The music and movie talk is great. I thought Gayle would be a hole, but she has Ron's wit and timing. They are like a superduo. Bennington is now my go-to show. I occasionally listen to O&J, then get mad at myself for thinking it might be good.

Exactly this. Ron has new energy now. No dead air and Gail is nothing like any other chicks in radio. There is nothing 'hole' there at all.

I don't know what kind of parent Ron was, but I wish I knew what I need to do so I have the same kind of rapport with my kids when they're adults that Ron and Gail have.

He's a decent radio host. Significantly better than tits, but that's not saying much. A monkey with a microphone has the ability to be wittier than that fucking shelly dunce.

Mr. Bennington isn't a guns-blazing type of show host. He's incredibly quick, but many of the best and funniest aspects of his shows come out as a slow burn. Check out the funny live reads before SXM barred him from doing them, drunk shows, Shock and Jock... A lot of his genius is just being able to bring it day after day. The whole fainting Earl saga was pretty hilarious, especially when he goes off for the entire show.
