I have been listening to old 2005 shows recently and every time they have keith the fat cop on or brother joe I have to fastforward. Brother Joe is impossible to listen to and his shit songs and stupid cover bands are a joke, but I know he was Ant's brother so he had to be on. But KFC? His stories are fucking awful, he would bring on random homeless people who were shit guests, and he gave zero insight into the life of a cop, which, I assumed, was his original appeal as a radio guest...

Does anyone know why that fat fuck was featured on the show so much? Was he a friend of the family? Did he get them out of trouble at some point?

Tippy Tom accounted for about 80% of all bum appearances.

The shopping sprees haven't aged as well as other bits, but at the time it was great knowing how disgusted the mall employees must have been.

There was also Wheelchair Fred and the STOP FIDDLING guy. And Lady Di counted for a period of time. I think Keith located her too.

I don't remember the ones you're talking about, probably because they sucked. Sounds like it. But they can't all be winners. Just most in this case.

Just to clarify, I didn't mean he brought Di to the show, but when she was homeless she fell off the map, as bums tend to do. That's when I think he located her, but I could be remembering wrong. Either way it led to a bunch of interviews with other bums about her crack smoking and cock sucking.

Really reaching on that KFC and explaining it, i think most people know Keith is a fuck up. Also they probably kept him around cause he was willing to deal with the homeless people they kept bringing in.

He actually did a lot of important shit with the homeless that a radio producer geek could never do. He knew where a lot of them were at any given time, and I would imagine he knew which ones were dangerous and which ones weren't.

He did some good stuff early in the XM days, he put together that bike ride they did. He is one of the driving forces behind the homeless shopping spree and for bringing Tippy Tom to the show. KFC is delicious.
