I actually got caught up in listening to that great radio, and I've heard it several times. The difference between that and the show now is night and day. Can you imagine listening to Opie try to read that book on the air? He'd stumble all over himself and repeat it trying to make sense of the sentence structure, mispronouncing words and completely ruining the flow of the show. Also, how bad was the sheer idiocy of Opie arguing that "Charlie" was a real person who was at the scene with OJ who just stood and watched as OJ killed 2 people, then left with the murderer without protest, managing to leave zero evidence of his presence at the scene? Unbelievable.
