Gregg 'Opie' Hughes and Brother Wease will simulcast a joint broadcast from 96.5 WCMF in Rochester, New York to celebrate their 30 year relationship in radio.

10  2015-06-01 by ChippyKasem

The two met after Opie graduated from SUNY Geneseo in 1985 and joined Wease's morning radio show as an intern. Wease is currently host of mornings on 95.1 WAIO in Brighton, New York. The reunion show will include a live audience. No date has been set as of yet - Opie will announce more information at the end of this week.

Brother Wease is fucking terrible. Brother.

Sounds like radio gold.

A perfect time for the fans to bring back Assault on the Media

that's funny but you're exactly right.

how great would it be to see everything that was O&A finally torn apart (outside the internet) by the hardcore rabid fans that perpetuated the show for so long? it seems fitting.

I wish there was still a way to mobilize the "troops," only person really that could is Anthony... But that's a slim chance

Oh my God. This is the best Opie can do.

People, listen! This is the best Opie can do.

This is fucking hilarious.

Lol, "a live audience", because this is what people want to see

"Sic semper tyrannis!"- what I hope to hear from the audience.

i love historical yumah

Yeah because all those O&A/Wease simulcasts were so fucking great.

I wish Anthony was still there so he can play a game on his phone while Wease and Opie put the audience to sleep.

Zero fucks will be given...

Finally! This is what the masses have been clamoring for!

I feel like this is a must listen show from a cringe perspective

It won't even be cringy, it will be unparalleled dullardry.

I'm assuming there will be a lot of "knowledge" on that show.

Opie is using this to introduce his new cohost.

Wease, so he can do the kinda of radio he wants to do, familysafe, non offensive, and talking about the same superficial shit the supermarket Rag-Mags report on.

OH MY GOD, you're a fucking prophet I know it.

fags

to celebrate their 30 year relationship in radio

Having trouble coming up with an anniversary that has less significance

A live audience? You sure about that, Opester?

They're going to get "best friends" tattoos.

This is fan faction, has to be

Accounts on Twitter with 8 followers are more interesting than such crap. Op is a washout.

Nothing of value will be lost if I don't listen to it.

That "mother hucker" gets funnier and funnier as Wease says it

Jesus christ, that sounds like the bizarro world version of an exciting prospective entertainment event.

tss tss Somwun hear shud go and like fawkin make a sign wif Bam end Lynsi fawkin on it and wave it in da audience atands and be like, 'oh, look at you ya fawkin peesa gahbage ya peckah is so small, ya wife has to get serviced by adult skateboarders or sumpfin' then do a gittar riff and leave tss

APREHL FAHHLLLLSSS. This story is up there with the "Hay guize, my brother said Pat from Moonachie died RIP :(" story from a few weeks ago

Will it be the same way he celebrated him and Anthonys 20th year?

Getting him shitcanned, then sucking up a raise, and pretending he never existed?

Being Opies Radio friend always pays off, amirite gang?

LOL getting him shit canned

oof

As fucked up as Anthony is and was, I hope this shows that fat titted, straw headed, delusional bag of rocks in terms that not even he can rationalize away that he is not why the show was ever popular or enjoyed by anybody, and that he contributes about as much entertaining material to the airwaves as an ESPN WNBA correspondent, with much more tits. He has breasts. That is the joke. We heard you.

Well, we will finally see if douchedom can split the time space continuum.

Remember the story of opie getting his ass eaten? Yeah that was strangely the same day.

Sounds horrible. Ill make sure to miss it.

Oh yuck.

Hahaha

They should have jocktobered wease.

I mean, was he ever really any better than any of the other targets?

Plenty of times they'd end up featuring people who were all better than opie too.

I guess Loyalty isn't a bad thing. Opie isn't any better at "radio" than any of the other guys that got jocktobered. He just kinda got lucky. Or he could just as easily have been any of the guys that got jocktobered. So many possibilities.
