how thick is your cock? how much money did you make for Breaking Bad? Are you attracted to gay guys who wear wigs and marry Amazon blondes to keep up a certain persona?
That was more in the 90s. Granted Stern is boring on his own now, but some of his interviews in the past couple of years have been extremely good: Tarantino, Larry David, Conan, Paul McCartney...
His Stern interviews are a lot different than his O and A appearances. He gives a lot more to O and A than stern but I think more people know him from Stern (for example I went to a show and there was a Bababooey in the crowd). On O and A Breuer has given some amazing long stories that continue over multiple appearances. He talks about his life and riffs and hangs with everyone. His Stern appearances are good but more polished, he tells the SNL stories and focuses on celebrities more and Stern has a shallower understanding/relationship with him, but still great appearances (I am big Breuer fan so maybe just for me). I prefer his O and A appearances if you can't tell. I wonder why he didn't come in today.
No, I thought that he had never done Stern. This article proved me wrong. I wasn't putting any credence on the 2 or 3 times part, even though that was what the guy said. It was the fact that he was on Stern at all that surprised me.
The only thing I can think is he came in when all the comedians came in to sit in Jackie's chair or maybe he came to a roast or one of sterns games to be a judge, or maybe at a special event. It would be cool to hear.
Burr was doing O&A as far back as 2005 and was pretty much unknown at that time. So I still don't believe he had done Stern 2 or 3 times prior to O&A unless it was some very random thing where he was an upcoming comic. Kind of like when Ant was on Howard.
You're wrong, he was on twice in May 2002, Howard saw him in a club and invited him in to sit in for the news. I have the audio, was going to upload it to youtube, but after listening I decided not to bother, it's pretty shit. Burr wasn't Bill Burr yet, he's audibly nervous, barely says anything and bombs when he does, assume that's why he wasn't a recurring guest.

Good for Burr, he doesn't need Opie radio. A Stern interview might actually be entertaining.

What all stern does is ask how much the guest is worth.

He does an unfathomably better job than Opie.

He's been going on Stern for a long time. Do you know if he always stopped by O&A before/after his Stern appearances?

Good for them! They deserve the exposure on a bigger show!

Burr was on the Stern show 2 or 3 times before he was ever on O&A.

Prove it.

Nevermind, I proved it myself. Looks like you were right: he said he did it once in this interview. Weird that there's no audio of it. http://www.pastemagazine.com/articles/2013/04/catching-up-with-bill-burr.html

What does this prove? Bill was doing O&A at least since 2005. Bill was on Stern before that?
-1 oldchunkofcoal 2015-05-21
It proves that Bill has done Stern. I'm not sure what you think I meant.

I thought you were replying to the person saying Burr did Stern show 2 or 3 times before ever being on O&A. Not just that he had done Stern ever.

as far as i can tell he's never been on Stern and my above comments are my best guess of when he could have appeared if he did.

Cool, post the dates.
edit: Hey I found info on it, I guess you're right. Turns out it came up in April 2015 as a brief topic as well. Bill Burr was on the 6th and the 20th of May 2002. I was wrong. I'm surprised i never heard him talk about that.
-2 -Palaver 2015-05-21
I highly doubt that.
1 grocery_man 2015-05-21
Yep burr has never been interviewed by stern before.
