Ant is and will be fine. He's in a hole he dug for himself but I think he will climb out. For his sake I hope he can find a way to get Keith out of the way and make some sound business decisions. Keith may be his friend but he has no experience or business trying to produce.. .edit...it would also be super awesome for him if Keith stayed away from ants name when responding here

Keith doesn't do reddit anymore. He couldn't take everybody telling him he was a piece of shit that was in way over his head.

I think it's just that Ant had stored up exactly nine months of good will to coast on from O&A before the fans started to demand improvements from TACS.

It's still far removed from an Opie-hate situation. I can't speak for everyone, but I imagine many of us want Ant to succeed. However, he did do some damage to that good will with his cranky response to Reddit after the latest studio update.

And underdog? Anthony got so much fucking support that it's still unreal. He took a big risk making his own show, and people backed him up 110%. Fans here bought year long subscriptions for a show they never even heard yet. People on this sub have been defending him and supporting him vehemently for 9 months. People are still blindly supporting him and hoping his show gets better.

The problem is that Ant is about 5% as enthusiastic as the fans. Honestly, he wants to do a low effort show in his basement for 2 hours a day, four days a week. That's it. He's shown minimal attempts to improve. People put a ton of trust and belief in him and he doesn't seem to be grateful for it. TACS now is a shell of what people thought it would be.

Sure many of you reddit cunts loved it. But in retrospect it hurt Anthony. Instead of concentrating on improving his show, he was reading the boards and pandering to his hard core audience. He destroyed the O&A legacy for no actual gain.

He came off looking completely classless and petty and is now slowly starting to feel the effect.

The fans are a mindless mist of hate. Now they got Anthony to make Opie cry, the hate can't just vanish. It has to keep consuming.

There's always going to be a subsection of the original pests who were only in it for the hate. Without direction, they've turned on their creators. I wonder if Ant feels like him and Opie created a monster that got out of hand at some points. That being said I've been having the most fun I've ever had on reddit watching this sub eat itself, and I don't know what kind of sick category of voyeuristic degeneracy that puts me in, but it's been a real hoot.

Ant is the guy with a bunch of dogs that he never feeds so that they'll be hungry and vicious when he sics them on someone.

The problem is that everyone else has moved on but the dogs are still hungry, and Ant doesn't have any food so the dogs are turning on him.

We're just monumentally butthurt over Anthony's personal politics. As the late great Patrice O'neal once said, "I'm a big fat stupid black guy who can't manage my diabetes and will become senselessly overrated after my death". My god, how did he know this would happen?

The vast majority of the hate that ant has received in this little shithole over the last month has been the result of everything from batshit crazy trolls, (that Ben72 guy and his innumerable accounts), normal trolls just stirring shit, left-wing vermin mad about guns and blacks, fossils who want the 55 gallon cherry dart bat challenge back, and most recently moralizing fags pissed off about teen pussy. The number of people that have legitimate issues with TACS or who just don't like it are a small part of this sub and if they don't like it, they should quit watching/ paying for it, because I highly doubt Ant will or even can change the basic format. I personally would've just retired to central PA or Mississippi (little to no gun laws, low cost of living and age of consent of 16) and did a LFTC every once in awhile.
