I hate Opie, we all do, but what's the point now?

We are kind of the last breed of fans.

Their height died down signicantly. The people who loved them in 05' are now older and most likely don't listen.

Many of us found OandA through youtube then started listening. At that point, their popularity was declining.

So if it's stagnant, and you lose half of your talent (ant), you should turn it into something that a general audience would love. Celebrity gossip, mild news stories with a bit of an "edge." It's the E! channel with a slight edge. From a business perspective, this wasn't that bad an idea.

I find that some people still have hope that the show will return to it's former glory days, and Ant will come back on board.

Opie and Anthony is over. It's the end of an era. We have to start letting go. I find this sub with the constant bashing of Opie/Ant/Jim/ blah blah, to be tiresome. It's like complaining about the Clinton administration. There's no point, it's over. Or complaining about the seinfeld finale for months on end. Who cares, it's over.

Everyone is just grasping on by bitching at Opie (who I hate just as much). And I don't see why now. It's all over. It's finished. There is no more show. There never will be. So why hang around here?

The complaining far outweighs any other discussions. How long will this go for?

Will it just die out as Joe Derosa hate did? Or are we grasping for some other type of Gregshells to keep us interested like 15 year old high school girls?

This sub is honestly ridiculous at this point. I somewhat got the point of it up until the explosion between Ant and Opie, but after that, it's just silly.

Opie sucks. We get it. The only thing sadder than Opie would be hating Opie, yet continually listening for the sole purpose of reiterating that he sucks.

Without the Opie hate, the sub dies since the show has proven it cannot create discussion based on its boring content. So it is Opie hate, an anti-Ant troll with numerous accounts, and the occasional Patrice thread keeping the sub on life support.

If Opie gets enough hate maybe he will eventually turn into fez, have meltdowns on air cursing out the listeners and eventually retire. Then the hate will finally stop.
