'Daniel "Bobo" Kurlan, frequent guest of the former "The Opie and Anthony Show" on SiriusXM Satellite Radio, died on Thursday in Flushing, Queens at the age of 31. Since first appearing on the shock jock duo's show on 92.3 K-Rock here in New York in 2007, Kurlan became a regular guest and grew in notoriety among the show's rabid fan base. "Its really a shock," said Sam Roberts, assistant producer of the now-titled "Opie and Jimmy Show" on SiriumXM. "Yeah, he was good for a couple jokes and we poked fun at him like any of our guests, but at the end of the day, he was a friend. We'll totally miss him". Kurlan was considered by many fans to be a bizarre but inexplicably magnetic character who lasted through the radio team's departure from the FM airwaves in 2009 until cohost Anthony Cumia's recent firing in 2014 due to controversial tweets. No cause of death was given, and no funeral arrangements have been made as of press time.'
