I honestly cannot believe what this show has become. I can't even call them Scott and Todd because there was at least something to laugh at there. The few seconds I've heard of the show over the past few months is so enraging I can't handle it. Fuck Opie, fuck the Stangle brothers, (and this one hurts the most) fuck Jimmy.

What happened with them, exactly?

Is Opie going to read the jokes off a sheet or will he memorize them beforehand phonetically? I only ask because as we all know he can't read or quickly comprehend things that are read to him.

Opie is so selfish that hell fuck up a joke given to him and ON AIR blame the brothers. It will get to a point where they wont even want to give him anything. This is the train wreck finale we deserve.

I'm actually looking forward to this, I'd have no issue if he had left and did a new show that was "safe" but to keep the same show and fans and then soften it up like a daily talk show about reality TV is exactly the thing the show always went off on other shows / media for. Hopefully it's a flaming trainwreck.

I cant fathom how they are going to contribute. It's a fuckin talk show that hasnt done anything besides talk since before ant got fired. What are they going to feed opie lines? At least when howard had jackie or benjy writing him jokes it came off naturally. Opie says a funny line like once every 2 years. Suddenly he figured out comedy? Jim cant be happy about this.

I'm abdicating...I had hopes that Opie would auger in by now and get his just rewards. It's evident that Sirius is going to throw a lot of money on Opie Radio to keep him from sinking into a primordial ooze of comedy bile. So, I now rarely listen to Hughes and continue to get more frustrated and outraged that he soldiers on, propped up by Jim, his staff, and Sirius Radio. He won--the sentient fans lost. Please, anyone, can we cue Karma?
