The way he pumped up their hires I bet he actually thinks so. Can you imagine this mushmouth retard attempting to deliver a witty monologue or interviewing a guest on his own? It would legitimately be worse than The Tony Danza Show, and probably even more cringey.
I know two guys who are not excited: the Stangels. From head writers to a top tier late night talk show to "creative contributors" to a niche satellite radio show that is stagnating badly. Oof...

The irony is mind-bending that someone who speaks so poorly is a millionaire off of speaking for a living.
Hosting a late night show requires talking as well as other things. Opie barely does that one thing.
