One of his tweets post firing was about how they asked him to apologise(I think). Did he ever provide more info on this? Also didn't he technically apologise for the Mayors Dead prank?

No, he was not asked to apologize. he has been asked that question a couple of times since the firing. he did tweet he would not apologize, but it wasn't a result of the company asking him to. i assume his intuition told him he would likely be asked to apologize by siriusxm

The company didn't ask him to apologize. His agent asked him if he would be willing to apologize, in an attempt to save the job. He said he thought about it, and just couldn't do it, as he would lose respect for himself, and lose credibility with his audience. Also, it was no guarantee he would keep the job if he apologized anyway.
Yes, he apologized pretty sarcastically on the news following the mayor prank.
